My Education
From September 2002 through June 2004, I was enrolled at Milwaukee School of Engineering, going for a degree in Construction Management. As of December, 2004 I have been enrolled at TechSkills, for a certification in Web Design. I am enrolling in the Master Certified Internet Webmaster (MCIW) program, which will allow me to operate either as a wembmaster for individual companies, or work for companies that write/manage websites for other companies in a freelance situation, or eventually, work freelance on my own!

This was mostly brought about through Reprographics, and my work there as IT assistaint, and in the operation and upkeep of our internet based document management system, eBidsets.com.

On December 16, 2003, I started my new job at Reprographic Technologies. We specialize in managing blueprints, Construction Documents, and the Specs, Plans, and Bulletins for many local, and regional construction companies and design firms. I have major tasks at work. The first one is assisting Andy, the IT Director with any of his IT-related jobs, and also with posting new jobs and updating current jobs to our online web server, ebidsets.com The second major part of my job, is to assist the production staff with printing, binding, packaging and shipping of the blueprints, documents, or materials. I really enjoy working for Reprographics, and hope to use this as a great launching pad for my career! At this point, I only work two days a week. This isn't too bad. Its enough time to get aquatinted with the software at work, and still leave me with time to deal with school and personal issues.

As part of a graduation requirement at MSOE, each student must become involved as a freshman, I chose to join AIC, the American Institute of Constructors. I had heard many good things about AIC, and the reputation that it holds with businesses nationwide, as well as the individual state chapters. This year, I renewed my application for AIC, and I took on an additional role. My initial plan was to become the webmaster for our School's chapter. Because if this, I was invited to participate in the AIC Mid-Year Conference, held here in Downtown Milwaukee, at the Pfister Hotel. It was here that I learned that I would not only be taking on the responsibility of the School chapter, but also the State chapter. This came as a little surprise, but I am willing and able to take this task on, and perform it to the best of my abilities. It's rather interesting how a simple interest in learning HTML code, could lead to such a great opportunity as this!
