Scrambling with Mark.
Mount Rundle is a long and grueling slog. The mountain's only redeeming feature is a terrific summit panorama. Leave early and pick a clear day.

The classic view of Rundle from the Trans-Canada highway

Heading towards the summit. Notice the balaclava - with the wind chill, it was around minus 30 degrees Celsius at the summit

Right before the summit cairn; a few scrambles can be seen in the background : Norquay, Edith, Cory, and Temple

Looking southwest towards the "Matterhorn of the Rockies" - Mount Assiniboine
