Scrambling with Mark.

Mount St. Piran is a great winter scramble, although next time we will certainly take our snowshoes. The view of the surroundings peaks is magnificent, especially when they are covered in snow. Post-holing almost to our waists in some places, the ascent of the main slope took us a grueling hour and a half. We glissaded down that same slope in about a minute and a half on descent - it was a blast! At the summit, the clouds cleared, giving us some splendid views of Niblock, Whyte, Lefroy, Aberdeen, Haddo, and Temple.
