The best ways to make use of this project is:

For evaluators: Participate.

The success of this project depends on participation of evaluators from developing countries. These evaluators can:

Evaluators in developing countries can ask for advice / suggestions on doing evaluation projects, and can help other evaluators in developing countries evaluate programs, using approaches and methods appropriate to developing countries.

Evaluators in developed countries can also participate. These evaluators can:

For program people: Work with local evaluators.

Our project is intended to complement working with local evaluators.

Evaluators who work in your local area know your conditions, and can meet and talk with you, program people and clients. They can see what is going on and can give specific advice. We strongly encourage programs to work with local evaluators to help to improve their program.

For example, if you work in a program, one way to use this project is to learn more about evaluation, so that you can work better with your local evaluators, get a better idea of what evaluation can and cannot do, and what questions to ask.

In addition,
people working in programs can also participate by:
