Zidane is the main character in the game.  He comes to Alexander with Tantalus which is a group that performs plays allover the world he is also a thief trying to kidnap the Princess, but only to find out that she wants to be kidnapped.  Through the game he becomes the hero that thinks for others before himself.

Zidane is a thief and uses a Dagger for his main attack which can be Synthed in a sword staff sort of thing.  He also can has steal items from your enemy, and has the skill of Thief skill which he lernt from weapons and other items.

Princess Garnet or other wise known as Dagger is the princess of Alexandria.  She want to see the world and she run into Zidane when she is trying to flee the castle.  She starts out as the damsel in distress. 

Garnet is a white magic specializes, she cast wht magic and has the skill of summon which come in very handy and is her main way of dealing out power. 

Steiner is the captain of the knights of Pluto, he is also the loyal bodyguard of Princess Garnet and through the game looks out for her well being and with this in mind he makes some stupid decisions.

Steiner is the power house for the team and his main attack is him normal attack, but when Vivi and him combine he can use magic sword which hit the enemy with magic.  His second skill is Sword art which enables him to use skill he has learnt off his weapons and other items.     

Vivi is the most adorable character in all of the FF I think.  He is in search of why he has been put on this earth and finds out some interesting things along the way.  He get involved with Zidane and the other when he comes to Alexandria to see the show that the performers that Zidane is working with. 

Vivi is the black mage and can cast some wicked spells on your enemy,  also he has the nskill of Focus which when used makes his magic hit harded.  I used this skill when Zidane was trying to steal somthing from an enemy and I did not want to kill him.

Freija is a long time friend of Zidanes and in search of her long lost love.  She is the Dragon Knight of Bermica and has left that town to go in search of her one and only love.

Freija has the skill of jump which takes her off the screen for a while and then attacks with a powerful attack form the sky, this is handy because she can not take any damage while she is off the screen.  Her other attack is Dragon which allows her to use skill she has learnt off weapons and other items.  Her trance just makes her hit harder.  When Freija is in Trance her jump remains in the air and she hits multi targets with the spear attack.

Well what can I say about this Character.  This is Quina she is the most weird character of the team.  She is a chef and will eat anything that she can get her hand onto.  She joins the group because she want to taste the world and to tell you the truth she almost eat the whole thing.

Quina has the skill of eat which is like Enemy Skill in VII.  This comes in handy for extra magic power.  Her other skill is Blue Magic which is where you cast the magic you get from Eat.  When she trances her eat becomes cook which allows you to eat them easier.

Amarant has joined the group to find out why Zidane is so strong and is the rogue character of the group.  He is a bounty hunter that has a leap of faith and is invited to join the team. 

Amarant has the skill of throw which allows him to throw items that you have obtained, you can also buy rings for him the throw.  His other skill is Flair which lets him use skills that he has learnt off weapons and other items.  His trance just makes him hit harder.

Ekio is a loner and has been all her life.  Her tribe was killed off by a mysterious force and she has been living with the mougles ever since.  She is a very energetic person and is always getting in the way.

Ekio has the same skills as Garnet but has different summons and some different white magic skills.  Her Trance is also double white magic.  I also noticed that she does not get as much life as Garnet.
