I have been an artist all my life. At 4 years old I wanted to be an artist. I was teaching my classmates in Kindergarten how to 'properly' draw a tree!

I aquired a Bachelor of Art in Fine Arts from Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas.

I then pursued other creative activities. I restored a victorian home and I was a professional wedding gown designer/seamstress.

I was stricken with breast cancer in 1996 and had to have the maximum treatments. I recovered and went back to sewing. I was diagnosed with a recurrance in 2002 and again had the maximum treatment. I thank God and my Lord Jesus Christ for the love, comfort, and strength that he provided me. I have recovered completely and have come to realize that it is time to pursue my art, which is my God given talent. I plan on getting my teacher certification and teaching in the public schools.

In the meantime I am returning from a 10 year hiatus from producing artwork. I also am very skilled at pen and ink and do perspective architectural renderings.

My lifelong love of dogs and cats has lead to a keen observation of their habits, personality traits, and that unique gleam in each one's eyes. It therefore comes easily for me to capture them on paper. I would love to do a portrait for you!
