On this page you'll find the music I've made with the program Fasttracker 2. They're all available in .XM format zipped with WinZip, as well as in MP3 format. While looking at this page you're probably thinking "I hope he's better at making music than making webpages!" - and I hope you're right. =)

I think it's a bit sad that many great composers abandon the old programs like Fasttracker 2 to switch to MIDI and newer programs. But the tracking scene is still alive after all these years and that's the most important thing!

Funny fact: One of the two programmers behind Fasttracker 2 (Mr.H) used to live in the same city as I - "Söråker" (a very small place in the middle of Sweden.) I was in the same class as his little sister. =) Keeping that in mind it's pretty amazing to think that FT2 is known all around the world and I'm one of those who still love the program and still use it - after about 10 years of existence! (I didn't start using the program until -96 though.)

You'll only find my latest songs on this page (2003 and forward). I don't consider my older songs to be of good enough quality for me to present here, but if you want them anyway you may contact me.

A Melody In My Head

"Often when I make music, I just play around with the samples until I finally manage put something together. But this time it was different. There has been a melody going on in my head for several years now and I'm going to get crazy if I don't get it out. =) But I'm a little bit worried that the melody already exists in another song. If you've heard it before - let me know!"

Southfield

"This song is dedicated to the residence in which I grew up (Söråker.) I noticed they have recently put up a sign which says "Southfield" (a nice translation) which gave me the idea to make this song."

Tough Situation (Remake)

"The original was released back in 2001 for KrangParty 7 and it got the same award as "New Life" got in 2001. Although this is an old song I think it's one of the best songs I've made, so I decided to re-release the song with just a small number of adjustments and improvements."

Sunny Days

"My second song entry for the SunDew Music Compo. It's not my best song I think, but it was allowed to submit two songs in the SMC compo - so I continued on a melody that I had lying around on the HD."

"The sound is cuter and more relaxing in this one. When I first began to track New Life it sounded like this, but I remade it before the competition. After that I decided to release this version as well."

New Life

[ Synth - Disco ] [ May the 30th ]

"It was originally released for the KrangParty 9 (a big computer party in the middle of Sweden, Sundsvall) and it actually got the award Viewer's Choice. It means that I got the most votes from the people at the party, and not by the judges. It's the second time I win that award. The first time was in 2001 with the song Tough Situation (I have a new version of that song on this page.) Since then I've submitted this song to the Complete Mod Compo and the SunDew Music Compo. The results aren't finished yet."
