Mom can have up to 7 kids at once.

How does the age factor affect the gameplay?
It can affect the gameplay for example lets say you are a toddler well you probably can't do many things around the house like cook food or anything.

How many different levels of age are there?
There are 6 stages in your sims life infant,toddler,child,teen,adult,old

What is the "Life-Score"
The 'Life Score' is kinda like points of some sort which you earn by first kiss,first job,ect.

Will they have a community space?
Yes the Grocery Store and Clothing Store will be located in the community space.

Whats new with Create a Sim?
Well now you can change every ascpect about your sim in the Create a Sim Tool from Nose,Eyes,Ears,ect

Will you be able to have basements or attics?
Maxis Confirmed that there will be NO basements but Attics will be in The Sims 2.

Is the water and fire more realistic?
OF COURSE,The Sims 2 will have a new 3D and Realistic World so everything will be more realistic.

What weather will there be?
There will be rain,thunderstorms,and sun set/rise. I am not sure about snow or sleet yet...

Can you place door windows or objects diagonally?
Yes now doors and windows can be placed on diagonal walls...not sure about furniture yet...

Will any of the NPC's return?
Yws the NPC's will return such as the Maids,ect. and there will also be some new ones like the babysitter!

Can you talk to the NPC's?
Yes you can now interact and of course talk with the NPC's.

Hi, i'm a little unsure about the maya 3d program, is it possible to play the sims 2 when it is released without first downloading maya? For example if you do not wish to create any objects yourself?
First lets get things straight for one thing you are not alone about not downloading maya have you seen the system requirements for that program... sheesh 512mb RAM!Yes of course you can play The Sims 2 without maya...and you can also create objects for The Sims 2 WITHOUT maya as Luc said from The Sims.com chat
