A DECADE A DAY HAS BEEN ENDEAVOURING TO REACH OUT TO FAMILIES

We have heard of children teaching the family to pray the Rosary after they have learned it at school, of children buying Rosary beads with pocket money or wanting them for a birthday present.

Embracing the ideas of some dedicated Rosary Makers at Dubbo and Bathurst, we have embarked on a project to help children evangelise their family.

• Each school can be provided with a lightweight, plastic statue of Our Lady
  in a drawstring bag supplied with four sets of Rosary beads and a How to Pray the Rosary leaflet. The bag is suitable for boys and girls to carry.
• Each child in the school can have a turn taking Mary's statue home for praying a decade or the whole Rosary with their family.
• If it is taken into different homes each day it is kept moving and interest does not flag because it takes too long to have a turn.
