Number One Fan - It's Happening

Today was, uhhhhh... pretty interesting ;) Haha...
Cindy drove Carissa, Charmine, Michelle, and I to volunteer for the AIDs Walk in Balboa Park super EARLY this morning. We were all tired, and Cindy kept going on and on about coffee. She’s trying to give it up, so we had to remind her that COFFEE=BAD. We listed a few alternatives: apple/orange juice, milk, tea, caviar-like-boba... Haha.
We met up with some FNLers at the parking lot, and then boarded a bus that took us to the park. *Doesn't remember what happened on the bus*
Anyway, when we got to the park, we signed in and then explored. We looked at all the booths, which were giving out tons of flavored condoms for free. LOL, some people were trading them like they were pokemon cards. There was also a booth called "Big Dick's Burgers," which became a recurring joke throughout the day. Haha.
When we got back to the volunteer sign-in tent, we were assigned to record the times of the runners. The guy who was "training" us said to pay close attention to the first few runners who come in, because they're very serious about their times. Haha, okayyyyyy...
We stopped taking down times after the hour mark, and then combined our list of times to make one master list. It was a very long and difficult process, even though I was just off to the side watching. Haha. When that was done, we walked around and got free stuff. We also got tickets for the volunteer lunch. Mmmmm, Phil's BBQ. I'm going to bring rice next time we volunteer. ;D
Before we left, Marla and her friend whipped out a huge bag of condoms and bottles of lubricant they collected. LOLL!! I don't know what they're planning to do with all of them... orrrrrrrrrrrr maybe I don't want to know. Haha..
On the bus ride back, the weirdest thing happened. Some guy kept asking if he could take a picture of me because I looked like someone from "Battle Royale" (a Japanese film?). I kept saying no, but he wouldn't leave. So now, there's probably a picture of me with a crusty/snotty red nose on someone's xanga. Great! Haha...
