2003 - Present: Suzhou Singapore International School  ;  Suzhou, Jiangsu Province, PRC

Primary Level English as a Second Language Teacher (ESL)

Teach ‘Intensive’ ESL classes to beginning speakers of English.  The students are years 4 and 5 (approx. 9-11 years old).  I teach the subjects of Science, Social Studies, Library Skills, & English.  Extra-curricular activities include sponsoring drama, radio drama writing, black and white chess, and co-sponsoring swimming, volleyball.  I have served on working committees to plan a junior camp for the year 4 and 5 students, and planning earth week. I have also started a reward-based reading comprehension program for my students to encourage independent reading.
