Lotus Notes and JFile Integration
I wrote an agent that may save some of you time if you want to export from Lotus Notes to a J-File database for the Palm.
Below is a link to a Notes Database using Notes version 5.05.

Basically this database demonstrates the following:

• Pulling data from fields in documents from a view
• Formatting the data
• Exporting to a CSV
• Converting the CSV to a JFile PDB database
• Emailing a person or group a customized email with the JFile database

All of this can be done automatically by a scheduled agent.

To use this database, you will need to set up (or modify my code) so that :

• Download Jfile from http://www.land-j.com/jfile.html and put the following files in the correct places.
• The jfile directory is located at c:\jfile
• The demo version of jfile is located at c:\jfile\demo\jfile.prc
• The JFile converter utility is located at c:\jfile\jconv5.exe

To get the email portion to work you will need to edit the agent and change Jamie Wojcik to whatever email address or group you want.
The code is all documented with comments so it should be very easy to modify.
